Matt Baumgurtel is the Partner at Hamilton Locke, advising on project development, construction, financing and mergers and acquisitions across the energy and infrastructure lifecycle. He supports investors, developers and constructors involved in solar, thermal, wind, hydrogen, electricity transmission, waste-to-energy and storage projects across Australia and the APAC region.

Matt works across the full value chain of renewable energy projects, providing guidance from initial structuring through to delivery. His work spans several complex transactions, and he has been recognised for impactful contributions to the sector.
