BIOGRAPHY

Aamir Cheema is the Head of the Department of Software Systems and Cybersecurity at Monash University, where he leads research spanning urban computing, data management, and emerging digital systems. He founded the Monash Urban Computing Lab and is recognised for contributions that shape industry practice and academic thought.

Aamir directs a multi-disciplinary project exploring vehicle-to-grid technology and recently published a vision paper that earned a major award at ACM SIGSPATIAL. His work supports advances in secure, connected, and data-driven mobility solutions.
